A Kentucky native, Amy’s career began humbly as a nursing assistant before she earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Jefferson Community College in 2000. She continued to advance her education, culminating in a master’s degree in nursing from Spalding University in 2020. Amy’s diverse experience spans critical care, surgical services, pain management, drug rehabilitation, acute care, and home health. It was during her time in surgical services that she discovered her love for orthopaedics, inspiring her to become a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Amy’s commitment to patient care shines through in her approach. She believes in treating the whole person, not just their ailment, and strives to create a comfortable environment where patients feel heard and supported.
Outside of work, Amy is a proud mother of three sons, with daughters-in-law and a granddaughter who bring her immense joy. When she’s not cheering on her youngest son at his high school sporting events, Amy can be found indulging her passion for travel. With 13 countries already under her belt, she is always looking forward to more adventures.
